Seletar Mall is set to open in mid November 2014 in Sengkang West Avenue and Fernvale road. Most of its space were leased and the major top tenants were Shaw Theatres, NTUC Foodfare and Fairprice Finest Supermarket, Uniqlo, BHG and admore fitness. This exciting 4 storey new shopping mall served by 390 basement carpark is a joint venture project by United Engineers Limited (UEL) and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). They have won the tender for the site in January after it submitted the top bid of S$328 million (S$1,156 psf ppr). This is a 99 year leasehold site offer a Gross floor area (GFA) of 284,000 sq ft and a net lettable area (NLA) of around 188,000 sq ft.
The topping ceremony was officiated by SPH Chairman Mr Lee Boon Yang. It was revealed that the mall will include tuition and learning centres which will served the need of mostly parents with children and couples residing in the vicinity of SengKang Seletar Mall such as Sengkang, Punggol, Hougang, Seletar, Ang Mo Kio and etc.
When it is ready, it will offer plenty of convenience and entertainment to the residents living in that area which will include a Cineplex, Supermarket, Food Court and retails shops. Nearby shopping mall includes Greenwhich V and Compass Point. Those residents residing in Seletar Hill, Jalan Kayu, Sengkang West and new launch projects such as Rivertrees Residences, Jewel @ Buangkok , La Fiesta, H2O Residences by CDL, Seletar Park Residence , Lush Acres By CDL (Executive Condominium) will also enjoy this additional amenities and great conveniences with short minutes stroll to Seletar Mall in the future.
The Seletar Mall has confirmed three major anchor tenants, , a NTUC Foodfare food court and NTUC FairPrice’s upscale supermarket FairPrice Finest.

This Sengkang Shopping Mall is expected to serve more than an estimation of 730,000 residents and 47,000 work force within the 5km radius which include the Seletar Areospace Park. Current access to the location is via Major road and expressway such as Yio Chu Kang Road, CTE, KJE, TPE, SLE.
